I might not be looking hard enough but could someone give me an idea of anything happening in Japan this year and prehaps a rough estimate of cost for a seminar. If someone has previous experience of one of these seminars any comments would be good too!

Seeking to plan and save to attend one next year. Is there an age limit for anything as i'd like to bring my younger brother along too (13 yrs old)  ? Is this prehaps something black belts normally attend too, would it be considered too tough for any lower belts?

Thanks

Hi Samara,

The information is on the calendar and has been for a while.

Having been to Japan several times, I have ALWAYS been shown respect, courtesy and consideration beyond the norm. Japan is one of the safest, cleanest most respectful places to go to.

Samara, you could probably go with our group, so contact Bernie Haughey berniehaughey@agkk.com.au or Glenn Stephenson G.Stephenson@uws.edu.au who are representatives from our group in Australia.

regards,

Shihan Paul

THANK YOU SHIHAN!

we passed! we are now Green Belts! and very happy about it too! My mother unfortunately has to have a second operation on her knee which results in her leg being in plaster and a minimum of 8 weeks leave, which is hardly going to go down well in her new job.
We'll just have to wait and see how that turns out. We do miss England but that's always the case when you move country!

Take care

Thank you Shihan.

Well here it's Green,Green,Green, then Brown and Brown and then Black! bit more boring on the colour choices here! I was rather looking forward to a blue belt simply because it's my favourite colour! oh well! yes we have a lot more to learn before blue but at least I am able to train twice a week as well as going to uni.

Exactly! perfect combo Shihan...  how about a blue eyed billionaire with a black belt?
I have to say (rather cheekily) that the physique that comes with the black belt couldn't be better.

now i'm just being greedy...

Re: Japan I have decided to postpone my trip until I am ready for my black belt because I think that at that point I would benefit immensly from it. Any extra training before my black belt exam will be good for me.  Grin

hope you are well ...
