Okay so me and my friend are 20 yrs old, both looking for jobs. We kinda came up with the idea of cleaning homes. My mom has been in the home cleaning business for about 27 years now.
So I kinda got the idea form her, So I was just wondering what kind of price that I should start out with charging clients. My mom charges about 20-30 an hour, sometimes more depending on the house. But for a starter such as myself what would be a good rate, I was thinking around $15/hr.??
Also since my friend and I might be doing it together, what should the price be charged for each of us or how should it be split up so thats its even??

For me, it has to be everyday. I also don’t like seeing a house in a mess. They say you can tell a person’s character by his house. I don’t like seeing things in disorder. My daughter and I always argue about leaving her room in chaos. It freaks me out. I always end up cleaning all their mess in the house. Maybe you can call it a disorder but I can’t function well when I see things in disarray. Everybody will agree any house can look nice if it’s clean and always in order.
