Shihan Paul's seminar in Southend on Sea
« on: November 12, 2007, 07:37:18 PM »

Hi all,

Just wanted to drop a line of thanks to Shihan Paul for his Seminar on the 10th November. It was great for us students to learn from someone who is respected by our own Sensei. Shihan gave a great insight into his angle on Goju-ryu, and evan for me - a white belt - it gave me total confidence to try anything that anyone else was doing.

Through the teaching of Sensei Oz at Southend we are always given the opportunity to work with more experienced students, but learning and working with others from other schools was an experience not to be missed. I am a great beleiver that the only difference between the grades is practice! hence the name Black Belt Brain - if your brain is ready the body can acheive anything.

Once again, Thanks to Shihan Paul, and i look forward to meeting with more of you in the future.

Yes it was a very good seminar wasn't it? My students and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially the CQ drills using bunkai from various Goju kata. Gave us lots to think about, in particular for one person about keeping things SOFT!  :D

It was a pleasure to be able to train at your dojo and meet so many friendly people. I look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.
