| Oxford Karate Academy has had a fantastic 2012. This year has been a fantastically blessed year. In May we had two more 3rd Dans who passed Seiwa Kai and Japan Karate Federation Goju Kai tests. Well done to Sensei Mark Annett and Sensei Zuzana Meryova.
In October we had more additions to our roll of honour black belt success list. Artur Pirogov passed junior 1st Dan Japan Karate Federation Goju Kai Tyler Curtis passed 1st Dan Seiwa Kai and 1st Dan Japan Karate Federation Goju Kai Luke Souch passed 1st Dan Seiwa Kai and 1st Dan Japan Karate Federation Goju Kai Sensei Natasha Coleman passed 2nd Dan Seiwa Kai and 2nd Dan Japan Karate Federation Goju Kai Robert Karpatsky passed 3rd dan Seiwa Kai
Later in October at the Traditional Karate Federation Championships, the Oxford Karate Academy did well with so many juniors winning medals. Our dojo last year entered 13 competitors and we took 4 gold and a bronze. THIS year we entered 14 competitors and took 2 x bronze, 3 x silver and 4 x golds. OKA has great classes, great committment and a great history. The past few weeks has seen 14 blackbelts in ONE class, including 1 x 4th Dan and 6 x 3rd Dans.
Without a doubt, the best karate dojo and Oxford Martial Arts Academy in Oxford producing nearly 100 Black Belts.
