Report on dojo party 24th June 2007 - Sun 24, Jun 2007 17:58:00 by Shihan

Sensei Mark Annett did a splendid job of organising a great fun day at Sturdy's Castle today. The dojo picnic saw many keen youngsters and supportive parents turn up, despite some rain on the day, buy we are British!

Sensei Mark got totally drenched, as he took his turn in the stocks (made by his own fair hands). A queue of eager kids lined up to throw wet sponges at him, whilst others cheered at their efforts.

A variety of bouncy castles and pugil stick arenas kept the children happy, taking it in turns to out do each other.

New friendships were formed and old friendships reinforced.

The Sumo suits saw the kids and adults don the outfits and wrestle each other to the floor. Hilarious to watch. Agnes Parrag fought her Husband (Miklos) and all was going well until Bryan Meek entered the arena!

Shihan Paul took part in the tug-o-war (his team lost hee hee).

Let's do another party at the end of summer!

Well done Sensei Mark!
